What can I expect on the Summit agenda?

This year’s agenda is still in development, but in the meantime, you can take a look at last year’s agenda as an example. More information will be posted on the America Votes State Summit page as it becomes available.

In addition to our robust in-person agenda and events, there will be a limited virtual conference available for those who aren’t able to attend the Summit in person.

Is there a refund policy for the America Votes State Summit 2022?

Yes. Refund requests will be considered through April 19, 2022. All refunds will be processed after the conference.

What are the conference’s COVID-19 protocols and requirements?

NOTE: America Votes is continuing to follow local and CDC public health guidelines, and will make adjustments to COVID-19 protocols and requirements as needed. If you have questions, please email statesummit@americavotes.org. 

Before registering to attend State Summit 2022, please consider the following COVID-19 guidelines for all attendees:

  • AV expects all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to arriving at this event.  Proof of full vaccination is required.  Full vaccination is equivalent to two (2) doses of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one (1) dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine AND one (1) booster dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine. Please note that a booster is required if an attendee is past the six-month recommended window of their first or second original doses.
  • While D.C.’s indoor mask mandate has been lifted, we will provide masks for attendees who wish to use them.
  • Please stay home regardless of vaccination status if:
    • You are feeling ill or have any symptoms of illness.
    • You have tested positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to the event and have not yet received the results or
    • You have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to the event.
  • If AV has collected a registration fee, a virtual ticket option will be exercised. Refunds for cancellations due to illness will be handled on a case by case basis.

NOTE: Proof of Vaccination will be required to enter the event. Please be sure to bring a physical copy of your valid COVID vaccination card.  Digital copies or photos of your valid COVID vaccination card will also be accepted.

Will there be a lost and found at the America Votes State Summit 2022?

Yes, the lost and found will be located at the registration table.

Yes, there will be lactation areas available.

How can I request accessibility accommodations for the America Votes State Summit 2022?

The registration form has space for those in need of accessibility accommodations to request accommodations and provide any additional information. If you have any questions or concerns you can also email statesummit@americavotes.org.

Will there be a gender neutral restroom at the America Votes State Summit 2022?

Yes, there will be a  gender-neutral restroom.

What meals will be provided at the America Votes State Summit 2022?

Day 1: Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided. 

Day 2: Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided.

Day 3: Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Accommodations for Dietary Needs: Buffets will indicate foods that meet certain dietary needs, such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, etc. America Votes will contact individuals about special accommodations based on information provided during registration. What is the State Summit’s cancellation policy?

The AV team reserves the right to cancel the in-person portion of the State Summit 2022  due to community health concerns or any other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.

If AV cancels the in-person portion of the conference, registrants will have the option to transfer attendance to the virtual conference ticket or receive a full refund.
