AMERICA VOTES COORDINATES LARGEST EVER MOBILIZATION EFFORT TO REACH VOTERS, SURPASSING 2020 VOTER CONTACT EFFORTS WITH 4 DAYS STILL LEFT UNTIL ELECTION DAY 

America Votes is leading a monumental mobilization effort to get out the vote in states across the country in the final four days before the midterm elections.

With Election Day 2022 still four days away, the America Votes coalition has already knocked on over 22 million doors— far surpassing  the total number of doors knocked during the 2020 general election cycle. Additionally, America Votes partner organizations have made over 40 million phone calls and have sent over 37 million text messages engaging voters.

This effort builds on the efforts of 2018 and 2020 and has resulted in over 32 million Americans casting their ballots already, including high numbers of first time voters, young voters, and voters of color in many key states.

This GOTV weekend, America Votes’ coalition of over 80 national partners and 400 state partner organizations will knock millions of additional doors. Nationwide, the AV coalition plans to knock at least 25 million doors with a majority in the hotly contested states of Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.

“We are getting out the vote by reminding millions of voters of their power to defend democracy in this election,” America Votes President Greg Speed said.  “While we are encouraged by the high numbers of early voters, we know that the work we do in the next four days will determine the results of these elections. We are seeing the seeds of our strategy working, the electorate is growing, and more voters will make their voices heard this year than in any midterm election ever.”
