“There is no sugar coating it, Donald Trump and the Republican leadership in Congress lost big again last night.  They waged a battle to intimidate and disenfranchise voters nationally, but Virginians fought back by showing up and making their voices heard in this special election.

“These results all point to an energized base of pro-democracy voters that are rejecting MAGA’s effort to dismantle the democratic process.  America Votes will continue working to ensure that every eligible American has the information they need to exercise their right to vote. In the upcoming midterms and beyond, we are committed to building a democracy  that is reflective of and accessible to all of our communities.”
